Deepwali (Tihar) also know as the festival of lights is among the biggest festival celebrated in Nepal. Members from Ghyalsumdo also celebrate this festival with great joys. ” Deusi Bhailo” is an event celebrated during this festival people of all ages visit their family and friend’s houses and perform traditional songs and dance. Typically songs and dance performed by men are called “Deusi” and women as “Bhailo”.
This year “Deusi Bhailo” event was co-organized by Ghyalsumdo Aana Samuha and Save the Culture team on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Dharma House NYC where over 120 members and guests participated.
