Ghyalsumdo Sewa Sanstha USA organized Lhosar Tsewa Chik 2023 (The Year of the Rabbit) among ghyalsumdo members and friends on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Gulshan Terrace in Woodside, New York. Lhosar is a new year festival of Ghyalsumdo people and other Buddhist communities which typically is celebrated for 2 weeks in Nepal. Due to the busy schedule, the celebration has limited to 1 day in New York, USA where members gather, exchange new year wishes, eat delicious food, sing, dance and play fun games. Around 150 and more ghyalsumdo members were part of this celebrated.
